October

Once again I am WAY behind on blogging. Even though I should be blogging about Christmas right now, I still have all of October & November to do. So here is a recap of October....

The middle of October we took a field trip for preschool to Mother Nature's Farm. The kids loved it! We went on a hayride, hung out at the petting zoo, went through the hay maze, had snacks, picked out a pumpkin, and played in the bounce house.

Later that month, my parents' neighborhood had a little halloween carnival. Colter got to ride a pony (Sydney would not b/c it was "too scary"), there was a petting zoo, a fire truck, and a bounce house. We had a lot of fun!

For Halloween, the kids dressed up as Spiderman and a ballerina. We had about 3 different costumes for Sydney, but the pink bunny and cat were both "too scary." I didn't get a lot of pictures this year. We started out trick or treating in our neighborhood. The kids had so much fun with that. They were so cute and polite at every house. Sydney was really into this year. Then we visited Jeff's grandma and then went to Jeff's parents' house. Grandma Talley had put together a cute little scavenger hunt for the kids to find their goodies. They LOVED it. They didn't really care about the treats, but wanted to do the scavenger hunt over and over again. Last we went to my parents' house. The kids got to trick or treat at a few more houses on my parents street and then we called it a night!

This picture was in my October picture folder and I thought it was worth posting. Sydney was very excited to be matching her baby doll.

Through the month of October and beginning of November, Colter was in a basketball class through Gilbert parks & rec. He loved this class! He made some new friends and loved the competition. This is a picture with his couch on the last day.
