Sydney is 2

Last Saturday, my sweet Sydney turned 2! We had a fun day with her. I think she knew it was her birthday. She was loving all the attention. Around lunch time we had a small party for her. Her guests were, Grandma & Grandpa Talley, Grandma & Grandpa Brown, Tracy, Kristin, Rich, Kaimen, Danika, Shelly, Mason, and Noah. We ate lunch, opened presents, sang to her, had cake & ice cream, and went swimming afterwards. Sydney got a lot of fun presents from her family and friends.

Later that night we went to Ihop for dinner for free kid meals. Sydney decided she wanted to try the raw onions off my sandwich. She seemed to really like them. And yes, her breath was horrible that night.

Sydney is such a sweet funny little girl. I look forward to seeing her cheesy little smile every day. She has brought our family sooooo much joy!

Here are a few things Sydney is doing at 2:
-She knows most of her colors.
-She talks a ton; saying full sentences.
-Syd is almost always in a good mood.
-She loves to hang out with Colter. Her favorite thing to do at bedtime, is run into his room and jump on his bed. They are best friends! They play so well together.
-She loves to scream in public with no warning just to be funny.
-She is a total girly girl. She loves getting her toenails painted, loves babies, loves barbies, loves loves loves shoes. The babysitters at the gym say she sits by the cubby and tries all the kids' shoes on. She loves acting like a mom and talking on the phone. She also has to pick out her own outfits and shoes everyday. It's so fun having a girl and seeing how different she is from Colter.
-Syd does not like television or movies. She has never really liked it, which is actually really nice.
-She continues to be an awesome sleeper. She goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up around 7:30am and also takes about a 2-3 hour nap. It's wonderful!
-She is obsessed with baby Callie, baby Dallin, and baby Blake. She talks about them all the time. When we are looking at pictures of them on the computer, she tries to take them out of the monitor so she can hold them.
-she loves dogs, and especially loves little dogs. If we ever see one, she gets a super high voice and says, "I want to kiss that cute dog" or something like that.
-She is a great eater. She loves veggies, all kinds of fruits, breads, meats, and anything else we give her. She actually has some pretty weird things she likes. She is in love with shrimp. We don't get it very often, but when we do her & Jeff chow down on it. Her favorite foods are probably fish, orange chicken, green beans (with ketchup), sour cream (usually we catch her eating it plain), all kinds of berries, and of course all kinds of treats.
-A few months ago, she took a lot of interest in potty training. I wasn't really ready, but I thought I give it a try. She did pretty well at home, but I didn't feel like I could take her out in public. I kind of gave up on it, but she has recently wanted to start up again. When we're at home she usually doesn't have accidents. She goes all by herself without me asking her or helping her.
-She loves to look for airplane and helicopters.
-As far as her personality, at first she seems to be quite around people, but I think it is just an act. She's never had a problem with me dropping her off anywhere. She has done great from day one with Nursery and the gym.

Stats at 2 yrs:
Height: 3 feet (92nd percentile)
Weight 27 lbs, 12 oz (65th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19inchs (70 perc.)
